In a thrilling back-and-forth affair, No. 8 Bingham emerged victorious over No. 9 Cedar Valley 18-17 to secure a 2-0 series win in the 6A Super Regionals, advancing to next week's 5A bracket play. Bingham surged with nine runs in the fifth inning after trailing in the early part of the game. Peyton Poleki contributed significantly, going 2 for 2 with two solo home runs, while Lily Gritton also shined with 4 for 5 at the plate, including a home run and two RBIs. Cedar Valley, despite their offensive outburst with four runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings, could not close the gap.
