The Wildcats fell behind briefly, with Ogden scoring the first run in the top of the first inning, but regained the lead with two runs in their half of the first inning. Emma Wayman went 2 for 4 at the plate, and Kayla Nielson's eight strikeouts helped seal the victory for Richfield.
