Paizley Boman's impressive performance, going 2 for 3 with two RBIs and earning the win with 14 strikeouts, propelled Spanish Fork (0-2) to an 8-4 victory over Orem (3-1) in a nonregion game. Spanish Fork made its comeback in the third inning, scoring two runs, and later secured the win with a strong seven-inning push, adding four more. Orem responded with four runs in the fifth but couldn't close the gap further.
