Richfield (11-17) took an early lead with three runs in the first inning and sealed a 6-1 victory over Providence Hall (16-8) in the 3A Playoffs. The Wildcats added another three runs in the third inning, allowing their defense to maintain control despite an eighth-inning attempt by the Patriots. Providence Hall managed eight hits but was only able to tally one run against a solid Richfield effort. Kolbi Viers earned the win on the mound for the Wildcats.
