Ridgeline's Anne Wallace smashed two home runs, extending her state record to 27, as top seed Ridgeline rolled past No. 8 seed Mountain Crest for the win in the first game of bracket play of the 4A state tournament. Wallace's first dinger sailed well over the temporary home run fence at Cottonwood Complex and cleared the permanent fence. Wallace now has 65 RBIs on the season, and the state record of 72 RBIs is well within reach. Ava Howell and Addison Hess also homered for the Riverhawks in the win.
