No. 2 seed Bear River pulled away from No. 7 seed Cedar with three runs in the fifth and then three more in the sixth as it won its first game of 4A state tournament bracket play. Aubree Fry, Bella Douglas and Kate Dahle all doubled in a pair of runs to lead the Bears. Kate Dahle pitched the final three innings of shutout ball, striking out four to pick up the win.
