In an exciting playoff matchup, No. 14 West Jordan took down No. 19 Layton with a final score of 12-4 in the first game of their best-of-3 series. West Jordan's offense came out strong in the first two innings, scoring a total of seven runs, led by standout performances from Isabella Knight and Paisley McQueen.
