West strung together seven base hits which, combined with a walk and two hit batters, resulted in an 8-run outburst in the fourth inning to rally from a 3-1 deficit and win its first softball state championship. Huntyr Ava hit a three-run homer in the sixth and finished the day with five RBIs, while Kamora Masina and Brianna White each knocked in a pair of runs for the Panthers, Jazmyn Rollin scored three times and Mikala Ulibarri pitched the final six innings for the victory. Jaydan Jensen had a three-run homer for Bingham.
