The Bears bounced back from a humiliating 16-0 loss in the first game of the 3A state championship match-up to earn their fifth straight state title. Jordan Theurer earned the win and had a triple as the Bears cap an impressive season. The Bears jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning thanks to three hits and two Spanish Fork errors. Theurer and the Bears' defense held the Dons scoreless, despite two bases-loaded situations in the third and fifth innings.
