Hadli Sorenson hit a grand slam in the top of the seventh inning, breaking open what was a close battler and sending Tooele to yet another championship game. Sorenson finished 2-for-3, as did Brooke Slade who had two singles for the Buffaloes. Lauren Frailey struck out five Mustangs in the winning effort. McKenzie Anderson led the Mountain Crest effort, going 2-for-3 with a triple and securing no less than a third-place finish for the Mustangs.
