Game Details - Softball

Tori Almond did it all for the Bingham Miners as she not only pitched a one-hit shutout for her team, she also slammed a home run in the second inning, bringing in the game-winning run. Two extra runs scored for the cushion Almond proved she didn't need. She picked up the RBI on a double in the sixth to add the second run as well. The Miners moved into the semifinals of the 5A state tournament against Roy. Lone Peak dropped into the consolation bracket to play Fremont for the right to move on in the tourney.
