The Braves defeated Region 6 rival Woods Cross in an up and down battle that saw the teams tied twice. The Braves took the 6-5 lead in the top of the seventh on a triple by Bobbi Hugoe. Heather Stucki then saved the game for the Braves as she jumped and reached to grab a line drive to right field with the bases loaded. Bountiful went on to play Bonneville in the next round of the one-loss bracket. Woods Cross ended their run to the championships.
