Amber Hancock pitched the shutout to keep the Lakers alive in the one-loss bracket of the 4A state tournament. Her team was able to pick up its single run in the first inning and held off a tough Snow Canyon team through the entire game. The Lakers go on to play Bountiful in the next round of the one-loss bracket, and the Warriors ended their run at the title.
