It took 10-innings for the Red Devils to defeat the Wildcats in the 2A state softball championship Saturday afternoon. A trick play and solid pitching by Shelby Dalton, who had 13 strikeouts, helped the Red Devils finally eek out a win over the Wildcats. South Summit pitcher McKenzie Woolstenhulme earned eight strike outs and hit a double in the loss.
