The Miners overhwhelmed the Knights with a solid offensive performance led by Shaynie Phillips and Katie Groves, who each smacked doubles in the win that allowed Bingham to continue playing in the one-loss bracket. The Miners moved on to play Fremont in the final one-loss contest of the 5A tournament Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. The loss ended Northridge's season.
