The Silver Wolves eliminated region-rival Layton from the 5A Tournament with a big fourth inning. f+bRachel Waymentf-b got the offense started with a single, and then f+bHaylee Adamf-b, f+bHailey Hansenf-b hit singles to load the bases. f+bHaylee Hochf-b then hit a single that scored all three runners and gave the Silver Wolves all the edge they would need. The win means Fremont moved on in the one-loss bracket to play another region foe, Viewmont. The Vikings and Lancers tied for the region 1 title, while Fremont came into the tournament a number three seed. Layton scored in the fourth and fifth, including a home run by shortstop f+bAshley McFarlandf-b. The loss ended the Lancers' season.
