f+bLauren Foltaf-b hit a home run to score the defending 3A state champs' first run in the top of the first inning. Pitcher f+bLindsey Palmerf-b went 2-for-4 with a triple against the same team that sent Tooele to the one-loss bracket in the tournament's first game. Folta came in and pitched the final two and a half innings for Tooele. The win kept the Buffalo alive in the one-loss bracket; the loss eliminated the Flyers.
