Haily Schumers struck out eight, but it was the Fremont offense, led by Schumers and her younger sister Toni, who won the Silver Wolves first softball title in school history. Toni Schumers knocked in two runs with her triple in the first inning, but Bingham answered back with three singles in the second inning. Kari Albrecht knocked in two of those three runs with a single in the bottom of the second inning.
