Abby Mecham hit a two run double that kept the Cougars alive in 3A tournament play Friday morning. Her shot to centerfield drove in two runs and ended the game as the Cougars were home team. Kassie Luck threw the complete game for the win, which meant Union would play Canyon View at 1:30 p.m. The loss eliminated the Wasps.
