Desert Hills swept Hurricane in straight sets Tuesday night, dominating the Region 9 matchup 25-13, 25-22, 25-16. Jessica Openshaw led the Thunder with 15 kills on a .590 hitting percentage while also adding seven aces. Phoenix Shaw orchestrated the offense with 31 assists as Desert Hills improved to 7-2. The Tigers, now 7-4, couldn't find an answer for the home team's balanced attack.
