Milford defeated Beaver 3-2 in five sets on Aug. 25, holding off the Beavers' comeback attempt in overtime. The Tigers won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-21 before Beaver rallied with a 27-25 victory in the third set. Milford took control again in the fourth set 25-14, but Beaver forced overtime at 25-14 before falling 15-11 in the tiebreaker. Acacia Dalton led Milford with 12 kills, while Stahley Beebe added 11 and Kamryn Cheney contributed 10.
