Lehi defeated Copper Hills 3-1 in a nonregion matchup Wednesday night, with the Pioneers taking the third set 31-29 in a closely contested stretch. Alayna Niebuhr orchestrated the Lehi offense with 33 assists and added 13 digs, while Katarina Kovacevic led the way with 10 kills, 4 aces and 15 digs. Mahly Jacobberger anchored the defense with 7 blocks for the Pioneers. The first two sets were decided by narrow margins before Lehi pulled away in the fourth to secure the victory.
