Granger survived a back-and-forth volleyball match to defeat East 3-2 in a nonregion game Monday night. The Lancers won the first set 25-10 before East rallied to take the second 26-24. East then captured the third set 27-25 to take a 2-1 lead, but Granger responded by winning the fourth set 25-10 to force a tiebreaker. In the decisive fifth set, Granger prevailed 15-13 to secure the road victory.
