Weber outlasted West Field in a back-and-forth nonregion match, winning 25-24 in the fourth set to claim a 3-1 victory. The Warriors trailed 1-0 after the opening set but rallied to take the next two before West Field forced a decisive fourth set at 24-24. Weber closed out the Longhorns with a final point to secure the win in the season opener for both teams.
