Westlake swept Alta 3-0 in a nonregion volleyball match Tuesday night. The Thunder dominated the first set 25-13, but the Hawks battled back to take the second set 27-25 before Westlake closed out the match with set wins of 25-21 and 25-14. The victory marked Westlake's first win of the season.
