No. 2 Lone Peak defeated No. 1 Pleasant Grove 3-1 to win its fifth consecutive 6A state championship. The Knights were led by Ava Burgess' 20 kills, 20 digs, 2 blocks and .300 hitting percentage. Pleasant Grove made a strong run in the third set, winning 25-14 with strong blocks, but Lone Peak rallied back to win the fourth set 25-20.
