In a defensive struggle, the West Field Longhorns outlasted the Snow Canyon Warriors 3-1 in their first-round 4A playoff match. Bella Alverson led the Longhorns with 8 kills and 4 blocks, while Maelyn Merrill added 7 kills and 4 blocks to secure the win. Olivia Kapp was instrumental in defense with 18 digs, helping the Longhorns take the critical second set 26-24 which proved pivotal in swinging the momentum in their favor. Snow Canyon's tight third set win 26-24 wasn't enough to turn the tide, as West Field closed it out decisively in the fourth.
