Alta rallied to edge out East in a thrilling five-set volleyball match, 3-2, on Sep. 17. The Hawks overcame a slow start, dropping the first set 25-18 but rebounded to take the second 25-18. After falling behind again with a 28-26 loss in the third, Alta closed strong by winning the final sets 25-13 and 15-13. The Leopards' early dominance wasn't enough as the Hawks improved to 9-4 while East dropped to 6-3.
