In a competitive high school volleyball match, the Hillcrest Huskies managed to rally and secure victory over the Stansbury Stallions, winning with game scores of 13-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-13, 15-12. The Huskies improved to 8-7 withe win. Ana Moleni, a junior outside hitter, showcased her skill with 23 kills and 15 digs, maintaining her No. 5 state ranking in total kills. Supporting her, Eva Tagoa'i contributed 8 kills, Dayana Mulamba added 18 digs, and Meia Larsen made a significant impact with 3 aces and 47 assists. On the defensive front, Sofia Montoya's 16 digs were instrumental in securing the Huskies' victory. "We got off to a rocky start in the first set, but our athletes have developed a strong mindset and love for the game that allowed them to fight hard in the next four sets and ultimately pull out our first region victory on the road," said Hillcrest coach Cassidy Adams.
