A resilient Tigers' squad bounced back from an 0-2 deficit to run away with the next three games and place 3rd at the 4A state championships. After dropping the second game 25-13, Orem looked completely out of it, but quickly responded with a dominating 25-14 victory and the momentum to finish out the match. In the fifth and final game, the Tigers broke a 7-7 with four straight points en route to the win. Hannah Robinson led Orem with 29 kills and seven aces, while Brandee Akana tallied 36 assists and Moana Moe contributed 10 kills. Alli Spurrier had 16 kills and seven blocks, Desi Bradshaw added 10 kills and Annie Smoot put down six kills for the fourth-placed Titans in the loss.
