The Darts rebounded from an opening game loss and a rough fourth game to take the other three and nab third place at the 5A state tournament. The Darts dropped the first game, but went on to win the next two and led 12-8 in the fourth before Bingham went on a 17-4 run to take the game and extend the match. Davis went up 10-4 in the fifth game before fighting off a Bingham rally to win the match. The Darts were led by junior Candace Richins, who had 20 kills, eight digs and three aces. Camille Walker added nine kills, eight digs and three aces, McKay Tarbox racked up 24 digs and Madi Bullard and Baylie Henrie each had 15 assists for Davis, while fourth-placed Bingham was paced by senior Danika Youngblood with 30 kills, senior Cortney Godfrey with 38 assists and junior Jacquee Vakapuna with 21 digs.
