The Thunder bested their Region 9 foe, region champion Hurricane, in three quick games to earn third place in the 3A state tournament. Annie Stradling had five blocks and served 18 times in the match while Lexi Cain had five blocks of her own. Brooke Bliss had 16 kills, Alex Thornton had nine kills, Madison Clymore had 13 digs and Courtney Weeks had 16 digs for Desert Hills. The Tigers finish in fourth place in the tournament.
