The Dons had some trouble with the Mustangs early before coming on strong behind the strong hitting of Erin Redd and Kylie Schofield to dispatch Mountain Crest and send themselves into the quarterfinals of the 4A state tournament against Lehi at 8:15. The Mustangs fell into the one-loss bracket to take on Olympus at the same time.
