The Cowboys rallied in the third game for a huge come-back win against the Thunder in the first round of the 3A state tournament. The win allowed Grantsville to stay in the championship bracket and face Delta at 7:45 p.m. in the quarterfinals. The loss sent Desert Hills to the consolation bracket where they met region 10 champion Park City at 7:45 p.m.
