Bingham's Ada Smith and London Pace each found the net as the Miners edged Layton 2-1 in a nonregion game. Smith and Pace each scored a goal in the fast-paced first half to give Bingham an early lead. Layton's lone goal came from Macie Peterson, with an assist from Hana Lee, but it wasn't enough to catch up. Bingham held on after their strong start to secure the win.
