Clara Howes scored twice, including the game-winner in the second half, as Woods Cross beat Fremont 3-2 in a nonregion game. The Wildcats and Silverwolves were tied one-one at halftime before Woods Cross scored twice in the second half to pull ahead. Howes opened the scoring for Woods Cross in the 20th minute with an assist from Kacey Durtschi, while Fremont answered with goals from Reagan Conroy and Eden Shupe. Abigail Poulton added a goal in the 70th minute off an assist from Howes before the forward sealed the victory with her second goal in the 75th minute.
