Ella Knudsen opened the scoring just minutes into the first half, leading Desert Hills to an 8-1 victory over Hurricane in a Region 9 game. Sophie Nelson and Lillia Erickson each netted two goals for Desert Hills (9-5), while Kamri Yergenson contributed a goal and three assists. Hurricane's only goal came in the first half before Desert Hills shut them down for the remainder of the game. The Tigers fall to 2-8 on the season.
