No. 8 seed Skyridge upset previously unbeaten No. 1 seed Davis with a narrow 1-0 victory. The Falcons defense stood strong against a potent Davis offense. Mercede Sampson was the hero on the offensive end, finding the back of the net in the 60th minute to give Skyridge the lead. It was able to hang on behind the shared shutout for Allie Noorda and Emalynn Levingston. Skyridge will face off against No. 5 seed American Fork in the 6A semifinal next week.
