No. 5 seed Bountiful won a thrilling penalty shootout contest over No. 4 seed Springville to advance to the 5A semifinals. Bountiful jumped out to an early lead at halftime before Springville's Mattie Neves scored two of her three goals in the second half to give the Red Devils the lead late. Bountiful scored again late in the second half to send the game to overtime. Despite the flurry of goals in regulation, neither team found the back of the net in overtime, as the game was decided from the spot, with the Redhawks prevailing 6-5. Myka Page, Belle Sorensen, Caroline Hellewell, Emmy Sorensen, Avah Spinning and Oakley Jensen all made their PKs for Bountiful. Bountiful will face off against No. 8 seed Brighton in the next round.
