After losing twice to No. 7 seed Timpview in region play, No. 10 Maple Mountain get redemption in the 5A second round with a double-overtime victory. Timpview led 2-0 at the half behind goals from Sarah Oyler, but Ruth Swain and Arie Bunce each scored in the second half as the Golden Eagles rallied to force overtime. Kate Yeates netted the winner in overtime on Mika Krommenhoek's third assist of the game.
