No. 8 seed Brighton overwhelmed No. 9 Kearns, dominating possession throughout the game as it rolled to the 5A second round win to set up a quarterfinal game with Spanish Fork. Led by two goals from sophomore Isabella Dowdle, and one each from Nellie Brown, Shai Farrer and Bailey Brown the Bengals easily secured the victory.
