Freshman Summer Long scored unassisted within 20 seconds of the first whistle, and it was all RSL Academy from there as the Griffins handled Manti to get to the 3A championship game for the first time. The Griffins led, 4-0, at the half and held on from there. Five different Griffin players scored goals, and senior Natalie Scott led the effort with a goal and an assist. Senior Isabelle Smith recorded the shutout.
