In a low-scoring and physical matchup, Ogden retained its hope of defending its 3A crown with a 2-0 win over Juan Diego, earning a second-straight trip to the 3A championship game this weekend. The Tigers scored twice in the first half off goals from their leading scorers, Neveah Peregrina and Ruth Larsen. It was all defense and chippiness in the second half, but Juan Diego couldn't muster a goal as Ogden keeper Grace Malan recorded the shutout. It is the seventh-straight shutout win in a playoff game for the Tigers going back to the start of the 2021 playoffs.
