The Timberwolves used a 2-goal halftime lead to earn their right to play at least one more game in 2022. Summer Christensen recorded a brace to help give Timpanogos the edge it needed to win. "You always hate to play a team in your own region during state playoffs. It’s the third time we’ve played Alta and we know how good they are. As a coaching staff we told the girls we needed to score early, and we did. But we also knew we could never stop fighting because Alta is a strong attacking team. We pulled out a win today and we are proud of our girls," Timpanogos head coach Robyn Bretzing said.
