Sophia Sivulich and Kenadee Thomas set the bar high scoring the first two goals in the first half, but Box Elder knocked in two goals of its own in the second half tying the game at two a piece at the end of regulation. Sophia Sivulich dribbled the length of the field from a pass from the goalkeeper to knock in the winning goal in overtime. "Our girls faced serious adversity this game with the loss of a few key players throughout the game to serious injuries. Our players banded together and decided to win it for each other. After letting a two-goal lead slip they fought hard to score the winner in overtime," said Northridge coach Thomas Zarate.
