In its third annual Sept. 11 tribute game, Herriman came out on top in a thriller against Lehi in front of many first-responder personnel. It was the Mustangs' first victory in the annual contest. Cassidy Adams scored twice for Herriman, including the golden goal in the second overtime. The score came after the Mustangs had taken a 2-0 lead only to have Lehi tie things up in the second half. Kaylee Holt scored the other goal for Herriman, while Taylor Booth and Rachel Rogers found the net for the Pioneers.
