The Timpanogos Timberwolves built momentum at the end of the first half and it carried over into the second. Less than 30 seconds into the second stanza, Katie Hendersen took a shot at the left post from 16 yards out that proved to be the difference. Senior Goalkeeper Sydney Oldroyd converted two terrific kick saves to preserve the shutout, and Timpanogos won the 2013 4A girls soccer state championship.
