East won a close Region 5 match 3-2 in a shootout over Highland. Caitlin Gamble, Hillary Wilkinson and Taryn Nicolaides scored the overtime goals to lead the Leopards to a hard-fought victory. Ashley Smith recorded the shutout as goalkeeper for East with help from tough defender Jessica Fetzer.
