Finding themselves trailing by 7 at the halftime break, No 3 Kanab clawed their way back in the third quarter and eventually took their first lead of the game in the fourth, on route to winning a second straight 2A state championship over top seeded Beaver 39-34. Ashlyn Houston and Anna Cutler led the way for the Cowboys with 13 and 11 points respectively, while Rylee Little filled the stat sheet with six points, seven rebounds, two blocks and an assist.
