Trailing by five heading after the third quarter, Mountain View surged in the fourth to force overtime and eventually clinch a spot in the semifinals by narrowly outperforming Viewmont in overtime. Viewmont's Karlia Gunnell (21 points with five 3-pointers) did everything she could to help the Lady Vikes advance but she couldn't overcome Mountain View's balanced offensive attack. Anna Roberts was the top scorer for Mountain View with 15 points.
